On A Dime Transformations is a team of doctors, social workers, peer support workers, career coaches and curriculum developers with decades of experience and distinction within their fields. We have identified a gap in the current model of care that leaves those in recovery facing obstacles and barriers as they transition from treatment programs into the focus of building a purpose-driven life through meaningful employment.

We partner with treatment providers, government agencies, and recovery coaches to ensure this important aspect of the recovery journey is accounted for and incorporated into the suite of services offered to their clientele.

We work to understand your treatment model and adapt to fit into your current programming. The On A Dime Transformations program can be customized to meet your budget, timeline, and resources. You can choose to have the program delivered by our team or we can collaborate with your organization and “Train The Trainer'' so that you build the in-house resources necessary to deliver the program. We have incorporated specialized delivery methods that engage neuro-diverse learners from a broad scope of demographics. Our workshops are highly interactive and involve speakers with first-hand, lived experience of transitioning into successful careers. Our facilitated group learning sessions and ongoing supports are designed to build a community of recovery. This level of engagement enables our readers to become more fully invested in their outcomes and the outcomes of their peers and contributes to their success and satisfaction at program completion.

Social and Financial Impact

Research shows that people in recovery are four times more likely to volunteer than the average population. It is clear that people in recovery want to have a positive impact on their families and communities. Our graduates are afforded the opportunity to have greater personal resources available to pay forward. With up to 46.9% of people in active recovery being underemployed, we offer pathways that help net recipients of financial resources become net contributors. This results in stronger families and communities with more financial resources available to those in need.

Increased Recovery Capital

Recovery Capital is the culmination of resources a person has available to begin and maintain recovery. Building this Recovery Capital is part of a healthcare movement in Canada aimed at overcoming our addiction crisis. We employ trained Recovery coaches and have designed our curriculum to directly fit into the Recovery Capital model. The On A Dime Transformations program is designed to help our clients fortify their own reserves of Recovery Capital and improve their ability to achieve positive recovery outcomes.
